Life Synopsis of Roger Baxter

Born in Arkansas. Raised in Illinois and Missouri. Educated in Iowa, Arkansas, Missouri, and North Carolina. Married in Arkansas. Lived in Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina. I guess you could say that I grew up in the midwest and then moved east.

I come from a people that have always worked hard using their hands and minds to earn a living. But most importantly, they have always strived to do what is right with strong religious backgrounds and faith. And I have done my best to follow in their footsteps.

It was not until after Janice and I had lived in North Carolina for nearly 30 years that we learned of our many North Carolina family roots: at least the Baxter, Adams, Moore, and Nading roots of our joint family heritage (if not others still unknown) all came through North Carolina on their way to the midwest where we got our starts in life.

So I suppose that after many generations, I have finally come back home to my roots.
