There is evidence that Annapolis was the specific place that William landed in America. In Vol. 6, No. 2 September 1997 edition of the Atterbury Family History newsletter an announcement appeared that "Emigrants in Bondage, 1614-1775" Chapter 2, page 57 listed William Atterbury as having been transported April 1733 on the Patapsco Landing Certificate Annapolis, November 1733, Middlesex.
