William Walter Baxter

Cause of Death

Uncle Walt went (with someone) up into Missouri to pick up a new team of horses in his truck. As they were coming back home one of the horses became upset. So, as the truck was being driven along the road, he climbed out the passenger side door, onto the running board then then up onto the side of the truck bed holding onto the side boards. Somehow he lost his footing and fell down under the rear dual wheels of the truck and was run over, crushed, and killed.

(As told by his nephew, Carney Baxter, in August 2014.)
