Great Houghton Manor
William Parke received from the Crown a grant for life of some tenements in Great Houghton in 1407 which was renewed to his son John in 1440, and in 1428 was one of the joint tenants of the Daubeney manor. When Lewis Atterbury died in 1631 he owned this property and its surrounds by then sometimes known as Atterbury Manor.
