Paul Webber, Jr., received both his B.S. in Education in 1966 and his M.S. in Aministration in 1975 from Southeast Missouri State University.
He began his career at the Jackson, Missouri, High School where he was Head Coach of the Fighting Inidans football team for 20 years with a win/loss record of 130-72.
Paul was also Head Coach and Athletic Director at the Poplar Bluff, Missouri, high school from 1989 to 1991 where he coached the Poplar Bluff Mules for three years with a record of 21-11.
He retired from coaching to became the Assistant Principle at Hazelwood East High School from 1992 to 1998.
His high school football coaching record has 151 wins and 83 losses over 23 years. He was voted Conference and District Coach of the Year 5 times. He finished Top Ten in the Missouri state rankings 10 times, won 16 District Championships, and won or shared 14 Conference Championships.
In 2009 Paul Webber was inducted into the Missouri Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
