Obituary

Richard J. (Dick) Baxter, born April 18, 1932 died November 7, 2017. He was born in rural Corning, AR. He had five siblings, Cona Baxter Blaylock, Marvin Baxter, Johnie Baxter, Carney Baxter, R.V. Baxter, and 13 nieces and nephews All Dick's siblings pre-deceased him in death.

Dick served in the U.S. Army 1953-1955 in South Korea. After being discharged from service Dick attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL graduating in 1960.

Dick met Jim Patrick in 1981 and they were together 27 years before being able to get married in 2008.

Dick worked for Texaco Inc. for 28 years starting in Los Angeles in 1960. He worked in Los Angeles CA, Chicago IL, Houston TX, and Caracas Venezuela.
